  this movie was pretty good, and andrew garfield did a good job as peter parker. it was a good story, nice sense of humour but the only bad part was lizard. the director should've expanded on lizard's role in the movie a bit. he didn't really resemble the comic version of the villain but was still kinda cool.

  the movie is darker and more modern. andrew garfield was better than tobey maguire... but perhaps this is a matter of taste. totally bought into the story, how it looked, film score, direction. my wife and i loved it.

  i read some of these reviews before watching the movie and was prepared for the worst. i was very pleasantly surprised. the acting was quite good and the movie itself was wonderful! some people are purists and hate remakes no matter what. this was a great installment into the spiderman franchise.

  i found that the actors were nto as good as they were in the original series, especially the first spiderman movie. even though the movie was closer to the comics story line, the acting i found was not up to par.
