I was truly disappointed in this movie... I am almost certain that any Fan of the Avatar: the last airbender Anime who watched this movie have been disappointed... The action was very very weak, the movie was dragging along... and it felt very cramped... M. Night have tried to shove all the first season into one movie and it felt too cramped. There was some nice scenes, the story is nice (since it is based already on the Anime) but all in all it was very disappointing... I doubt that they will go through the rest of the Volumes (Book 2 and 3).

Awesome movie makes me excited for the two sequels. Could have done without the 3-D.

This movie could have tried harder. M. Night seems to have made a movie of close-ups and first takes. The effects are good, but the acting is NOT! If this spawns a sequel I sure hope he tries more than two camera angles. Very disappointing!

The movie it self was good but it is a series movie so there is no conclusion at the end.

Would rate it less than 1 star if possible. Bad script, bad acting and almost no 3D. Hope they haven't already begun filming sequels!!!

If there was an option worse than 1 star I would give it. This movie reminds me of Movies for Dumbies. Rather than allowing you to watch it seems to want to narrate the movie to you. With the actors telling you "where" "why" and "how" they are going to do things .. rather than letting the movie flow and the action tell the story. I seriously thought about walking out of this movie.. But my companion kept telling me it would get better. It did not. It is predictable, boring and does not trust the movie goers own intelligence to figure out the movie.
