  On the weekend I had the opportunity to see Little Miss Sunshine. It`s a quirky little movie which starts out with a awkward looking little girl in a very messed up family who has the chance to compete in the Little Miss Sunshine Beauty Pageant two states away. Due to the late notice of the competition and the financial straits of the family, it is necessary for them to drive to the event in their beat up VW wagon. This is not a movie about the beauty pageant circuit and the strange people who inhabit that world, this is a very funny road trip movie and laugh out loud character study of a dysfunctional family.
