  I LOVE Sherlock Holmes and was excited to see the actors starring in the film. I enjoyed the film to a point,ie acting, photography was good, but I was very disappointed in the film's tone.. as it was more like a 'Mission Impossible' or 'Matrix' action film. There was much more action, and less true Sherlock going on. It compromised the 'cognitive' processes I'd hoped to use. I wouldn't see it if you truely are a Sherlock fan and like to figure out mysteries. I guess it appeals to the younger crowd.

  this movie was extremely well cast. the action, plot, pace, everything was well done! i liked it just as much as the first.

  nicely put together but so dark and jumpy. i expected more. a bit disapointed.

  This is a solid 4 star movie; nothing more and nothing less. The beginning was a little slow, but quickly escalated into quite an intensely action-packed climax. Robert Downey Jr. may not have made as strong of a Sherlock, but the bad-guy and Sherlock's brother steal the show.

  Good movie but seeing it in AVX is not worth the extra money. The sound is not much different than a normal viewing.
