  While I've never really enjoyed the pop-referential Shrek movies, this is the best one since the first, a sort-of It's a Wonderful Shrek for a new generation.

  Shrek Forever After was a fun movie to watch even though it seemed short. I enjoyed see the old characters such as Donkey, Puss in Boots, Gingy, Three Blind Mice, Three Little Pigs return and the main antagonist called Rumplestiltskin.
