  Whether or not you are a fan of the original books, this is a great movie for kids and adults alike. The 3D effects detracted from the movie and I find the Tintin character to be too moralistic compared to the books but a good movie to watch.

  Great adventure film for the whole family..with older kids. A lot of eye candy here.

  I read the Tintin series 38 years ago, and my daughters loved reading the old comics as they were growing up, too. This movie was the best "animated" style I've ever seen. The characters were realistic and the action was fantastic. Great production. I can't wait to see it again.
