I`m neither agaist or for horror flicks and especially not fond of horrors that are all gore. This movie was not what I expected which was gore filled. The movie was good. Not too much gore. A very good story line. Well written and thought out. Well acted and suspenseful. At the end you can appreciate where the bad guy is coming from (if he is truly THE bad guy in the movie). The writer really had a good grasp of the human condition. We don`t appreciate what we have till its gone. I give this a 2 thumbs up. A good horror flick these days is hard to find.

The Saw has now joined the elite list of movies that make up my favorites of all time! It was the ultimate in freaky...psychologically chilling...and I will watch it over and over! It has to be one of the BEST in suspense-filled films! I`m really looking forward to The Saw 2! I can`t wait!

What a wicked and twisted ending! I love it! It has the "Six Senses" ending effect to it. You better watch it man!

It was intriging. Had a lot of unanswered questions though. Not as scary as I thought it would be. Awesome twist ending. That was the best part of the whole movie!

I watched 20, maybe 30 minutes of this movie and I had had enough. This movie was just an excuse for some sadistic moron to make some money off other sadistic movie-going morons.

Pretty good movie, kept my attention throughout with a good ending. For all those who say its unrealistic, name a movie that doesn`t have some unrealistic aspect. If every movie could feel every hole then you all would complain it was way to long, just a bunch of negative movie watchers who whine on everything they can. If you think some of this doesn`t happen, looks like you better start studying some criminology or become a cop. I have saw people cut in pieces so it happens.

Great idea for a horror film, but poorly played out. Acting was just average. Too much chatting & flashbacks between Adam & Dr. Gordon. Would have liked to see more victims & more intricate "mousetraps". The killer`s creations for these victims were amazing & great. The locations & sets were eerie & great too. Loved the very tense & nailbiting "reverse bear trap" scene, but would have be scarier, if we didn`t know at first that she lived thru it. All & all, a good scary movie. Makes you wonder what you would do. I kept yelling at Dr. Gordon & Adam, for wasting time talking about thier family & feelings. I also had a feeling early on,
