Action movie, but it has kind of an oddball, intellectual quality. It has all the action scenes you would expect, but the scenes in between are unusual. It took me 10 or 15 minutes to get used to the tone but then I really liked it. There is a silent chase scene that is like Hitchcock.

In One Battle After Another, the political satire strikes with both precision and audacity, transforming a high-octane revenge plot into a kaleidoscopic critique of power, identity, and ideological fantasy. By exaggerating both the fervor of revolution and the paranoia of right-wing backlash, the film holds up a mirror to our polarized age, revealing not just the absurdity of extremism, but the human cost of surrendering nuance. Anderson’s satire is never maliciously cynical — it punctures pomposity, exposes hypocrisy, and leaves us unsettled in the best way, prompting us to laugh, wince, and reflect all at once.

Tremendous film, laughed my ass off. A crucifixion of right wing lunacy. Sean Penn is the best bad guy since Bill the Butcher in Gangs of New York. I’m going to see it again and I haven’t done that in a long time.

Unbelievably great movie. Normal people won't get it, but if you are really into movies, you will love this movie. Best movie this year.

Heck of a movie. Portrays the heavy, isolating costs of revolution and resistance, and how it drives people apart and forces people to put up walls-- and how hate-driven ideologies fundamentally function off of selfishness and fear and inevitably eat each other. Staple PTA incredible filmmaking on display, with some tense and kinetic chases and vehicle sequences, and the dark subject matter cut with just the smallest brush of whimsy.

Film attempted to portray radical left wing ideology in a positive light. Extremely vulgar language throughout. Not worth the price of popcorn.

Seeing a pregnant lady shooting a machine gun was ridiculous. Glorifying violence and known terrorists is a criminal act. Don't waste your time with this trash.
