  i went with my mother, it was uncomfortable a bit in a few parts, but we both really enjoyed it. loved toimmy lee jones!

  this movie made me cry - only because i lost two hours of my life! boring and predictable - no laughs beyond a smirk! would be completely ignored if it weren't for the two major stars who must have been desperate for cash. if you enjoy sitting in a doctor's office, you'll love it.

  meryl plays such a dowdy,meek and uninteresting wife that it is very hard to get into this movie. what to say about her husband who is just as uninteresting??? in all it amounts to good acting but not a very sad movie.

  strong veterion stars did a great preformance. good story line ,was devloped through the movie .we all laughted and cryed.

  a great movie. i think tommy lee jones was perfectly cast. he showed how vulnerable he could be & paired great with meryl. great for the mature audience or anyone who's been in a relationship for a while.
