  We should have known what kind of movie it was going to be when only 1 other couple was in the theater. I couldn’t really get the gist of what it was supposed to be about, other than running around cursing and screaming the ‘F’ word over and over. It is not worth your money. Thank goodness we had free passes, or I would have asked for my money back. We thought it might be fairly good with DiCaprio and Penn in it. It wasn’t. We left shortly after the show title came on, which was longer than we should have stayed. My advice is to save your money.

  Super fun comic thriller. Penn, DiCaprio and del Toro were fantastic. Great casting of all actors. Loved it.

  Yes, Sean Penn is hilarious as the caricature of a "tough" soldier, with his strange mouth movements and his animalistic behavior, great acting indeed. Overall, a good thriller movie with a lot of dark humor and timely politics in it.

  Well, people with a certain political prejudice won‘t like the premise of this film, so be it. From a strictly cinematic point of view, this is an excellent movie. The first 30 minutes feel a bit slow, but once we meet Willa, the pace is picking up. Great action and a consistent story. Leonardo DiCaprio is great as the aging revolutionary, Sean Penn phenomenal as the evil colonel with a lot to hide (well deserved Oscar nomination!). Liked it.

  This film is a second rate Tarantino wannabe film. WAY overrated and very predictable full of cliches and cartoonish characters.
