  Prometheus is a pretty good sci-fi movie, if you don't have a passing interest in science, or if you need constant action this movie isn't for you. However if you like the oddball movies that aren't summer blockbusters, you won't be disappointed.

  Boooooo! And shame on all you professional movie critics who rated this highly. Where were the actors??? Poor character development, week plot/direction/script. Same old alien plot dressed up differently...a few really nice scenes and special effects could not save this dog. I heard the director reviewed on npr saying this film was "intelligent"...what?? The only intellect involved was the accountant's who figired out how much money they could make at the box office for a great PR campaign. SHAME ON YOU R.S.!!!

  I Saw this movie today and it really let me Down, I've already seen the Movie "Alien" and to me it was simply a remake of an awesome film. Some scene were pretty cool looking in 3D but the storyline is what killed it. I won't say it was a waste of but it came pretty darn close. Once again Great Special effects just needed more Character

  This movie was so boring ! It needs to be more dramatic and interesting. I would not recommend this film to anyone. I had nearly fallen asleep. The end was the best part as it was dramatic.

  this is a prequel to alien, if you read the origins of alien, this is exactly how it started, as a micro organism that grew to what it is now.
