  i thoroughly enjoyed this movie. it had a great story line. viola davis & maggie g were excellent in their rolls. a very touching movie that will inspire a lot of us. i like happy endings.

  a great story about a determined young mom who tries to improve her daughter's school. fantastic acting from all the leads -- especially maggie gylenhall and viola davis.

  i loved this movie so much i've already told all my friends about it,the cinema was so quiet you could have heard any pin dropped that's how much attention the people were paying,4 stars is because i;ve really enjoyed it,a very interesting movie.

  despite not being a mom i was moved by all the ladies' stellar performances. i hardly recognized holly hunter, i like her old look better.

  a strong cast. a great story. maggie gyllenhaal reminded me of julia roberts in erin brockovich, a fierce character that "won't back down". viola davis shares the screen with gyllenhaal and provides a great, gut wrenching at times, performance. refreshing to see a film with no nudity or language that can appeal to older audiences as well.

  i truly enjoyed this movie and even had a tear in my eye, at one point. i feel this movie hits home to many low/medium-income families to motivate them to go one extra step or to go beyond what the rules tell us. i love that the movie did not seem like a high-budget film. great film!

  it was a great movie, that really stand out. i hope that this movie win some academy award for "best film" and "actors", it a feel good movie that anyone can enjoy.
