ironic that anyone would think the story was predictable or repetitive when it may have plenty of original ideas to begin with and to still be oblivious to that... now that 2012 marks the 100th anniversary of this erb story written in 1912... it's nice to see it adapted to 21st century movie form

predictable, repetetive, special effects are marginally better than the acting. humour almost indistinguishable. plot line and twists have appeared in countless other movies. best part of the movie was the popcorn. wait for it to come to pay per view.

i have been waiting for this movie since 1980 when i first read the books as a kid. the y changed the story a lot, but i thought it was a great attempt. i want to see it again.

Attention moviegoers who complain about this movie being too similar to Star Wars: this story influenced the writers of Star Wars, Superman, etc! Great entertainment, I haven't had such a good time at the movies for years!

Great story and SFX. Well worth my money. I actually escaped into fantasy for 2 hours. Last movie to do that for me was Avatar.

did not like the soundtrack (was expecting the trailer soundtrack). was very impressed by lynn collins. the movie was different than most in this genre and i don't know why. it might have been the approach to the story. it impressed me.

lots of jumping, fighting and star wars esq features but nothing new. acting was one dimensional from the human characters. the aliens provided excellent emotion and character development. i guess i was expecting more. wait for the dvd to come out.
