This movie has nothing to do with karate at all.. this movie touches on so many levels.. insecurities, loneliness and feeling out of place or feeling less than. The whole movie deals with having an inner balance in life and when you feel all of these things previously mentioned, you cant have an inner balance..Daniel and mr. Myagi both have holes in their hearts. In their training they form a bond stronger than just friendship.. Daniel lost his father and myagi lost his wife and son, and together they fill the void in each others lives.. this movie is way deeper than just a karate movie.. it's about life
