i thought it was well put out but people have to remember the phantom of the opera is NOT OPERA!! its set in a opera house if you listen to the music they throw in odd colutulra phrases this does not mean its actually opera!i my self sing opera,by motzart beethoven and such i study it. the phantom of the opera is a wonderful movie for a MUSICAL!but other than that i thought of it as another movie

I have now seen Phantom of the Opera 17 times. Gerard Butler has a sexy voice and good singing. He had been an unknown actor till this movie, sorry, however, I believe that he will be one of the most popular and best actor in Japan I live.

Wonderful!!! I have seen the stage production, but the movie is so much better because you can see the performers up-close and personal. Emmy Rossum is perfect and a very beautiful young women. A true star is born.

I saw the stage production 8 times and loved Colm Wilkinson as the Phantom. The movie version is exactly the same, and Gerard Butler does a great job. Emmy Rossum is also very good. If you liked the stage production, you will love the movie!!

I loved this remake of this timely old classic and wonderful oprea. This remake has so much more passion between Christine and the Phantom. I liked the "Point of No Return," you felt that they were just singing only to each other, you felt compasion for the Phantom. Throughout the years, each time this oprea has been remade, the directors were able to lift the restrictions on acting to make it more real for the viewer. When Christine kissed the Phantom to show that he was not alone,I cried and wondered why can`t he get the girl but then that`s the way the story goes. This was a well made movie and I enjoyed it and look forward to the next rem
