I just saw recently the Phantom for the 6th time since its release. Oh my God! I couldn`t believe I was so touched and moved by a movie which I have seen 6 times in less than a month and a half. I was so emotional I also couldn`t help sobbing. This movie is definitely one of the best musicals ever been made. Everything from the actors to set designs, costumes, cinematography, was top-notch. I couldn`t think of a better cast than this. Such a tragic romantic sexy seductive Phantom movie, my heartfelt thanks to Joel the director and Andrew for their huge contributions; and to Gerard, Emmy, Patrick and Minni for making it a forever memora

A visual and musical masterpeice. As soon as that organ starts and the chandelier begins to rise, you will be in awe. The film has got to be one of the greatest musicals ever put on the screen. It truly is a breathtaking experience and now I know why my friends have seen it multiple times. A surreal and spellbinding exursion to a place where beauty and music reign supreme.

I saw the stage version and fell in love with it. I was quite skeptical when the movie was released, not expecting to like it. I loved it! There is much more detail in the movie since you are limited in stage productions. I highly recommend this movie!

I saw it for the first time last night and had to return this afternoon. I couldn`t believe how sexy the Phantom was and his chemistry w/ both his co-stars was amazing. I was disappointed w/ the "continuity" people though, for when his mask is removed, his ear is suddenly disfigured...yet throughout the movie, both his ears had been normal. Forgive me...but after working for many years in broadcasting...I tend to pick up on these things. Loved the movie, though...found it far superior to the stage version.
