  King was drunk and coked-out when he made this garbage. No real scares. Not a single empathetic character. You'll probably want to take a bath after watching this trash.

  Fun as cinematic junk food, but it disappointed many viewers who where expecting a scary movie. It isn't scary at all. And yet Stephen King has the gall to constantly criticize Stanley Kubrick's film of THE SHINING. King is an idiot. And who wrote the synopsis of the film on this website?!? You want to know why the trucks didn't charge the truck stop at the beginning? Because they needed the people to pump the gas!!! This was made quite clear in the film. Whole lotta stupid goin' on. Try paying attention next time.
