  What a wonderful look at the inside of `modern` royalty...I respect the Queen and understand her a lot more after this great movie...an Oscar nod is going to the amazing Helen Mirren for sure! I forgot it was her...and thought it was actually Elizabeth...great show!

  20% of the movie is made up of actual tv news clips. The other 80% of the movie tries to convince you that this is how the queen and the royal family really is. It feels like 80% autobiographical blarney and 20% tv propaganda boredom. I was not royally amused except for the theatrical fluffiness and the some middle class looking interiors.

  Very good movie - interesting and well acted. Highly recommend for the above 30 crowd. Theatre was full

  I enjoyed this movie. Although I know it is speculative, I feel I "got a peek" at the Royals. Helen Mirren is spectacular and I am sure an Oscar nod is coming. If you are a Roayl follower, this is your flic, if not, stay away.
