I think Sean Connery was the best but still I like this Bond movie.

Any credibility is immediately squashed when we see Bond and `M` sharing a jacuzzi. What were they thinking?!?!

I think those of you who are criticizing the fact that this Bond doesn`t have as many gadgets and that this is too much of a love story need to remember that this is a PREQUEL. I really like the fact that this Bond is a little more vulnerable, and I think that this storyline really does a good job of "setting the stage" and explaining why Bond never sets down roots as far as women go. As far as the lack of gadgets go, could it be that Bond needed to start out at the low end of the totem pole and then move up to the bigger toys??? As I said, remember that this is a PREQUEL...and a very, very good one in my opinion!

I`m not really huge on the Bond movies, but I actually quite enjoyed this one...with the exception of one scene that was quite hard to watch! 4 stars out of 5.

This was the Batman Begins of Bond, and it was fanatastic. Daniel Craig is the Bond that Ian Fleming wanted. Great pick for the new Bond. Great job telling the story and establishing the roots of the character. One of the best Bonds yet
