  Cars took me by surprise...I know, it`s a Pixar movie what`s to surprise? However all the adverts for this movie made it seem sub-par compared to the greatness Pixar achieves. So, with great hesitation I ventured into the world of Cars...and was pleasantly surprised. All my doubts were immediately put to rest, at least once the opening song finally finished (why would they choose such a terrible song?). The voice casting is great, the animation is well done, although not exactly up to Pixar`s usual, and the story was well done, but did have its usual family cheesy moments.   I really enjoyed this one. I`m not a Nascar fan (I`m female, so sue me) so the in-references didn`t mean much to me, but the characters were unforgettable and beautifully animated. The moral was (as usual) a little heavy-handed, but I laughed and laughed through the whole thing. Fabulous movie for kids, and anyone who still behaves like one.

  the movie was entertaining and thoughtprovoking. I grew up in a small town and I don`t think that most people have any idea how much small town life can influence the person that you are. The characters in the movie were broad spectrum funny.
