  boring and tedious. Couldn't wait for it to be over. Shoot this. Shoot with a bigger gun. Blow this up. very little plot, not worth the money. designed for nothing but mindless violence. Other Star Wars movies were good. This is a waste of time.

  I didn't think the movie was needed..but it was quite good. and the movie ties into a new hope. Very creative and stuck to the star wars ideas!

  Thought this movie was fantastic tie into the original trilogy. As a Star Wars fan (minus the 2nd trilogy and anything JarJar Binks related) it actually finally made the destruction of the original death star make sense. However, my two younger teenage daughters were bored and did not appreciate what older fans such as me did. 5 stars from me, 2.5 from them. Lucky my review is what counts.

  I am old enough to have waited in line to see the original Star Wars movies so many years ago. I think that this franchise has more than run its course. The new movies jump back and forth in the space/time continuum so much that it is hard to maintain a coherent plot line. The original movie was a perfect balance of visual excitement, dark drama, and humour but the subsequent episodes have lost virtually all the funny moments, most of the originality, and many of the characters that we all learned to love and hate so passionately. This particular episode is just relentlessly bleak with endless fight scenes superimposed upon dark and dirty murkiness. I was bored and actually angry that I had bought into what is looking more and more like a blatant attempt to milk the franchise for every last penny. Don't go.

  Love the movie and the story time. Connects the ending with the beginning of the New Hope. Darth Vader apereance was great. The recreation of the three actors were well done. One who died in 1994. Great job. The younger Princess Leia. They used a younger actress but they did some modifications. One of the pilots who died years ago. I think was red pilot. I am glad I was able to watch out spoilers. I think the people who are given lower rate to this movie are the ones who want to boycott the movie for lol. I went to watch this movie twice. In 3D the movie looks much better.
