  65/100 An American girl gains entry into an extremely exclusive dance school in 1977. But perhaps it's far more than a school and what is it hiding in its hidden corridors? You have to work pretty hard to figure this out. With a length of 2 1/2 hours, I was impressed that it kept me engaged enough to where it seemed much shorter and I did like the unique style and look of it. I felt the photography of the ritual was terrible, though; dark red, flashing with the cameras over-cranked ...I may have liked it if it wasn't so nauseating.   An insult to the original film and an insult to horror fans. Obviously made by an insufferably pretentious douchebag who thinks he's above the genre. He's above nothing, and neither is this piece of crap that he made.

  Yet another atrocious remake that insults. The sensory blitzkrieg that is Argento's original has been replaced by a jagged formalism that merely highlights the director's contempt for the source material and the genre itself. This is complete garbage.

  As a fan of the original, I really enjoyed this. It's like an alternate universe version of the source material. It's nothing like the original so check that at the door and go in and have fun. The cast are great, there's some serious nightmare fuel in a couple of scenes. It's about 20 minutes too long but still loved it.

  Horribly boring is what this movie is. I love the Horror genre, but this movie isn't worth anyone's money.

  Not a jumpy scare kind of horror movie, but one with more gore and disturbing content that makes it hard to watch but also hard to pull away. Keep an open mind if you go see this one.

  Not a horror story. Not a very suspenseful film. And ultimately, not very entertaining. Had potential, but it must be on the cutting room floir.
