  I was amazed reading some of the reviews that some of the movie viewers were "shocked" that this was a "get the death star" movie. OF COURSE IT IS. That's how it was written and advertised. Now you're shocked to find out? This is a movie that stands apart from Star Wars. Right from the opening salvo. Loved the special effects and the return of some Star Wars characters. If you are a Star Wars fan you will not be disappointed with this offering.

  horrible movie. No plot, terrible writing, acting okay. Did not do the Star Wars trilogy justice at all. The last 2 movies have been horrible.

  I'm a fan of the old Star Wars and of Disney, but this one disappointed a lot. It was boring and the storyline was going nowhere, there are times you just get lost because it's all over the place. I was an hour into it and I was wondering when would it finish. I waited 30min more to see if it would pick up and it didn't, so I left. I usually never leave even when I don't like the movies. I don't understand all of the great reviews this movie has. Sure, it's beautiful to watch all the worlds and the characters but the movie itself was awful.

  Enjoyed the movie - as a big SW fan since watching the original in 1977 14 times in theatre (before the days of VHS/ way before DVD), really enjoyed seeing the original characters from 1970s episode IV , i think you would have to have watched all of the star wars series to appreciate this movie - a very interesting story between episode 3 and IV that was well delivered and action packed.
