Sheepherders Gummi and Kiddi live side by side in a secluded valley in Iceland. Their ancestral stock of sheep is considered one of the country’s finest and the two brothers get numerous awards for their prized rams who carry an ancient lineage.
Although they share the land, Gummi and Kiddi have not spoken to each other in 40 years. When a disease suddenly infects Kiddi’s sheep, the authorities decide to cull all the animals in the area to contain the outbreak. As the authorities close in, Gummi and Kiddi have to come together to save their special breed passed down for generations, and themselves, from extinction.
