Megan (Natasha Lyonne) is popular, pretty, dates the captain of the football team and is a cheerleader. But her life comes to a screeching halt when her parents set up a group intervention to prove that she's a lesbian.
Armed with what they feel is evidence (she's vegetarian, doesn't like kissing her boyfriend and hugs her friends too much), her parents send her to True Directions, a rehabilitation camp. There, Megan meets Graham (Clea DuVall), a rich girl who has no intention of converting and is only there so that she doesn't get cut off from her trust fund. Suddenly Megan begins to question everything she's told.
