Our mission has always been to provide a Big Screen experience for the best Features and Shorts created by Independent Filmmakers. These filmmakers are local, Canadian, and International. Backpay follows Steve, a desperate father fighting to save his marriage, who teams up with Murphy, a cop scarred by life as an informant. Their “simple” extortion plot—kidnap a corrupt politician and crack a safe—quickly spirals into danger.
